Great start for mid week league team.

Lewis takes a hat trick and then leads the way with the bat as we comfortably beat Machen in midweek league click here for report..

 

 

Second XI lose first league game.

2nds lose at home to Lisvane in the league click here for report.. First XI game against Monkswood was called off another victim of the rain..

At the Caerphilliy & District Mid Week League presentation night Tredegar scooped all the awards in Division one with the team winning the league losing just one game. Jacob Richards & Lewis Parfitt taking the bowling and batting awards. Jacob collected his award of a voucher for new bowling shoes from Chairman Lyn Jones for his performances during the season resulting in him bowling 31 overs taking 12 wickets at an average of 10 per wicket. Lewis received a new bat for his efforts after scoring 3 centuries and two further innings of 96 not out on his way to averaging an amazing 122.86 in the season... Andrew Evans and Ian Pembrey were second and third in the batting averages giving Tredegar a clean sweep of these...

 

Season starts with one win and one defeat.

Mixed results in the first of 2012 pre season friendlies, win away at Lisvane followed by defeat to Usk.. Click here for reports..

 

Fixtures now update.

The Clubs fixtures have now been received and are listed on the site.

 

Nets.

Nets are now 7-9 on Tuesdays for all senior and U15 players, Club coach has developed a fun filled programme of training that can only be beneficial when the season starts.

Please make every effort to attend, to work on fitness and technique so that the forthcoming season can be our best ever...

 

Direct Debt mandates.

Can all members please make sure they have completed and returned their bank mandates ASAP in accordance with the decision in the AGM... If you need a mandate form please contact Robert Morgan.

 

AGM News.

Following the Clubs recent AGM we are pleased to announce that the new First team captain will be Scott Quirk. The Officers of the Club wish him every success leading the Club in the 2012 season and hope that he and the rest of the players have a successful year in all forms of the game.

There were a number of changes in the Offiers in the Club and the Chairman would like to thank all the retiring officers for their efforts over the last few years and hope they will continue to support the club.

The new Treasurer is Merill Withanage and Simon Beard will be the new Fixture Secretary and second team vice captain. Ian Pembrey is the Clubs Child Welfare Officer. A full list can be seen by clicking here.

A number of changes we approved in the AGM and details of this will be posted on here soon and sent to you via email. Please action the email as soon as possible to allow the Club to grow.
